  • Abzu — The extensive links at this site are organized into categories that include museums, archaeological sites, geographical areas, electronic journals, and many more. Abzu is a project and publication of the Research Archives of the Oriental Institute, Chicago.

  • Exploring Ancient World Cultures — Provides introductory essays on the Near East, India, Egypt, China, Greece, Rome, Islam, and Europe. Each essay includes links to related essays, images, texts, internet sites, and a chronology.

  • Annual Egyptological Bibliography — Each year of journal and book citations, with abstracts, is organized in a classified arrangement. For instance, within the category of religion there are several subcategories, making browsing convenient. The AEB is published by the International Association of Egyptologists in cooperation with the Netherlands Institute for the Near East.

Greece

  • The Perseus Digital Library — An evolving digital library of resources for the study of the ancient world and beyond. Collaborators initially formed the project to construct a large, heterogeneous collection of materials, textual and visual, on the Archaic and Classical Greek world.
