How to Enroll in Your Blackboard Course

Note: Students must self-enroll in Blackboard courses, even if you are officially enrolled in the course with the registrar.

Step 1: Go to the GTU Blackboard site and click on the LOGIN button.

Step 2: Enter your username and password
Please see your registrar if you need a username and password.

Step 3: From your Blackboard hompage, click on the COURSES tab
Near the top left of the page you will see two navigation buttons shaped like tabs; COURSES is one of these tabs.

Step 4: Search for the course
The easiest thing to do is to search by course number. Enter the course number into the COURSE SEARCH box. Note that there are no spaces in the course number; i.e., enter BT2008 instead of BT 2008. If this fails, click on the Advanced Search link for additional search options.

Step 5: Click on the ENROLL button.
On the next screen, click on the SUBMIT button. On the final screen, click on the OK button.
